First class descaler for my Krups Dolche Gusto! June 8, 2010

Was using unfiltered water and the limescale was ridiculous! It made the water container look disgusting and the coffee was just dribbling out. This made it look brand new again. I was truly amazed at how good this descaler was. The coffee pours 3 times faster now. Highly recommended :)
Also, use filtered water if you can lol

I believe my fully automatic coffee machine decides on a time basis that it needs descaling rather than measured
furring up of the tubes etc. However I am not sufficiently confident not to engage in some descaling and to this end I follow the dictates of the machine and in any case it would go on flashing a light at me unless subjected to the treatment. There was no discernable difference (to me) in the coffee afterwards. Having grown up in very hard water area I feel qualified to make these assertions.

I thought about using an alternative de-scaling product from the supermarket, then came to my senses and used the recommended product. To cite an aggravating TV commercial, it does what it says on the pack. Very simple and quick, if you have a DeLonghi coffee maker then use this when it's time to de-scale your machine!

Yep - descales my coffee machine just fine. Bit pricey for what it is I suppose.
