Best machine yet July 24, 2010 Pete T I've had a few coffee machines before and needed a new one as my old Krupps started to leak (a common problem). I was initially put off by the price as it seemed too cheap to be any good but took the plunge after reading the reviews. Quite simply this is the best machine I've ever had. Yes it's a bit noisy but more than maked up for it by making superb coffee. Another bonus is the drip tray pulls off to reveal a second one underneath allowing room for a large mug to be fitted under the dispenser should you want to add coffee to pre-warmed milk. It's so good I'm thinking of buying a second as a spare!
Sleek, Stylish and Slimline July 15, 2010 MelArt Purchased this Espresso maker as a 50th birthday gift for a friend. It looks great, takes up very little room AND it makes great coffee! One slight negative, the box should have included coffee pods to get you started but mine didn't. Amazon couldn't have been more helpful when this was brought to their attention - my account was credited immediately to compensate.
Great Capucinno Coffee Machine July 14, 2010 Pati This is a great Capucinno Coffee Maker - I tried more expensive machines but this is the best - Its a great price too - I bought one for me and one for my friend - Highly Recommended
Excellent buy - and so easy to clean!!! July 13, 2010 Pali This was a gift for my parents and having received it this morning they've already called to say what a fantastic cup of coffee, and how easy it is to clean!!! That may seem ridiculous, but how many times does a kitchen machine loose its charm when it proves difficult and complicated to clean, then being hidden in the corner of a cupboard to collect dust and occupy space? A very worthwhile buy!
Espresso Replacement July 4, 2010 J. W. Lewis (Oxford, UK) My old Krups Espresso maker blew up witha big bang so this De'Longhi is the replacement. Seems a bit less robust but initial impressions are that the frother is great, it heats up pretty quickly and doesn't make too much mess. the coffee holder doesn't seem so well made, it is thinner metal and doesn't fit so cleanly or turn smoothly into place. That said, it seems to make a good crema without much fuss and not too noisy either. Tamper on the side which looked like a good idea but it's messy and I've given up trying to use it. Seems good value for money, makes good coffee and a great froth so very happy so far. Hope it lasts longer than my Krups which blew up after 2 years of moderate use.
