Excellent pans but June 27, 2010 ssbb Absolutely love the pans, excellent quality the only downside was the shipping. Took 2 weeks to get here via HDNL, sent to the wrong postcode twice even though I supplied the correct one. When the box finally arrived it was in a really bad state. Thankfully the excellent pans were undamaged
One and a half great frying pans June 4, 2010 Mr. John G. Roscoe (Manchester, UK) So the pans are, basically, awesome. They have a good weight, helps keep them still on the hob, and the thing is so sleek you can clean anything off it with ease. The cooking areas heat up about as fast you'd expect from any pan, but I've noticed the heat seems to be very even all over the thing - chicken breasts have never been so perfect!
However, the size of the 20cm pan is a little disappointing, especially as the 20/28cm numbers fooled me into expecting not much difference. But it works like pizza. Those couple of extra inches add so, so much more tasty area. I digress, the smaller pan is only about the right size to fry an egg or a couple of sausages - but it is also one steely hunk of excellent compact cookware, so it's difficult to bear too much grudge. I guess my main point is that, these pans are probably worth it as they cook to a standard higher than anything I've previously seen - though I'll allow you the comfort of judging how much that's worth. My other main point.. no, my sidepoint... perhaps more a caution is that you're not getting two full size pans.
Even Mum Couldn't Make Them Like This! June 3, 2010 Filthy Raider (Dorset, England) When the first omlette slipped out of the 28cm baby onto the plate, I had the feeling life was going to be good.
For years we've picked cheap pans thinking it was economic, but then I decided to get something a bit better, but at a good price!
What you get are two excellent Tefal pans ideal for almost anything.
Clean beautifully and the basic tip for a longer lifetime is let the pan go cold and NEVER run under cold water after use whilst still hot!
Very pleased, and well worth it.
Teflan twinpack pans, very happy with them April 30, 2010 Mrs. D. W. Neilson (Midlands UK) Having used both of these pans now I can say that I am delighted with them. The small one is just ideal for me when cooking for one, and I can see pancakes would be ideal done in it. The large one has been used for multiple items very sucessfully! There has been absolutely no stick at all, and cleaning is a dream. Hardly takes any, just a few wipes in hot soapy water and the job's done. Recommended!
Best kitchen purchase in ages April 2, 2010 M. Lahn Nykjaer 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you either don't have a nonstick frying pan, or have one that's scratched, then buy these! - They are nice and thick, spreads the heat evenly very well. The nonstick really works, I've tried some nasty things, but it doesn't stick. Just take care of it - e.g. do not put cold water on a hot pan, let it cool down, or you bend the base.
Highly recommendable, sizes fit most too I'd guess, small one for single portions, and the 28cm for everything else.
