GOES WELL WITH THE RAYBURN July 22, 2010 KNIGHTS - DE - REALM (UK) ITS A KETTLE...IT WHISTLES WHEN READY AND MATCHES MY RAYBURN.
ITS A HEAVY WEIGHT WHEN FULL AND FOR SOME REASON APART FROM MY NEW RAYBURN BEING THE CENTER OF ATTENTION FOR VISITORS - EVERYONE WHO VISITS HAS TO PICK IT UP AND GIVE A WOGGLE - AND ASK DOES IT WHISTLE?
RECOMMEND YES
Excellent - finally a kettle which whistles !!!!! July 3, 2010 JoeLib I've wanted a whistling kettle for ages and bought a Le Creuset one and was so disappointed in it that I nearly went back to an electric kettle. I decided to go for this one, which was cheaper but I hadn't heard of the make. It is fantastic - I love it !!! Definitely go and buy one, you won't be disappointed !!
Save your money May 18, 2010 Caroline Riley (UK) This kettle looks great on the stove but doesn't pour well, awkward handle angle, takes ages to boil and ours broke after only 3.5 months! Going back to electric!
Too hot to handle? April 29, 2010 B. Jane The kettle is too hot to touch without an oven glove if you like to pour your kettle as soon as the water's boiled - but wait a few seconds and it is fine. It is also a little heavy and awkward. Looks nice though!

Does exactly what's its supposed to. I like the look and the whistle works well. I sometimes have issues with pouring if its nearly empty, but my girlfriend doesn't seem to!
