Not a lot to say. An efficient steamer which does the job. Most importantly the baskets 'nest' over the water container for storage, so it takes up very little room - around 1/3rd of the shelf space occupied by its predecessor.

Like many other reviews I have to say I love this steamer, and haven't used saucepans for veg since buying it.
HOWEVER - I too have scolded hands and arms due to rubbish lid, the bottom of the baskets have long since stopped fitting in properly, and now all three tiers have serious cracks... Shame, as it has great capacity and cooks amazingly fast.
Going to have to buy another steamer now, and don't think I'm going to get same product due to everyone else having same issues with it as me.

I can't fault this steamer - it does what it says, and does it very well. However after repeatedly washing the baskets of my first one (which I'd had for around 5 years) in the dishwasher over the last year, they became brittle and started to craze and break. I found out replacements can't be bought so after considering other brand/models I decided to buy another one (which I wash by hand).

Replacement for a previous Tefal Steamer which gave good service. Still produces tastier food. Packs compactly between usage. Hard to go back to saucepans when the power usage must be so much less and the food tastes better too. Change to a steamer today, you owe it to your taste-buds.The only drawbacks are 1. hard to get liquid for gravy making from container.
2. bottoms of tiers detach easily for cleaning but also fall out when trying to fit into body.
