5 out of 5 stars Lovely Bread!   September 8, 2010
Michala
I have the earlier model and have been really happy with the machine. Its easy to use and the bread is perfect every time. I purchased this newer model for my mum and she is very happy with it. My dad said its the best bread he has ever had! I have had my machine for about a year now and use it every 2/3 days and its still going strong.

5 out of 5 stars Great Machine   September 6, 2010

This was bought to replace a very old Panasonic machine that had given great service for many many years. With the latest technology this is even better. We love setting the timer and coming down to the smell of baking bread.
Would recommend to anyone.

4 out of 5 stars Panosonic bread maker   September 5, 2010

My second Panasonic bread maker and works much the same as the previous one which always made tasty bread but too soft for easy slicing.
Noticeable also that folowing the Starbucks pattern small has now become medium the smallest amount of flour being 400gr- I would often like a smaller loaf.Am a little dissapointed that I cannot make a simple fruit loaf the nearest being a spicy one with malt extract (Although I guess I could leave out the spice !!).

These critical points should be read bearing in mind that this bread maker is probably the most expensive one [[ASIN:B003DNRTDM Panasonic SD-257WXC Automatic) on the market!

5 out of 5 stars Real Fresh   September 5, 2010

We moved to France and the shops are 20 miles away so we got a cheap bread maker (Sainsbury flog it off £30)made some wonderful bread and also threw a lot of ingredients in the bin. After a bit of web searching realised Panasonic's the way to go. Occasionally get non-riser, could be the flour or the water, but we eat 90% wonderful home made fresh bread and buy the occasional baguette. We did have Panasonic No 1 die. We are on a hill South of 100 miles of plain and we get many huge thunder storms one of which trashed it's brain so we bought No 2. A friend fixed the brain So we are still using No 1, every other day for eight years and No 2 waits in the pighouse.
Recommend making bread. Recommend Panasonic.
