The Miele 'Cat & Dog' vacuum cleaner is the best I've bought in 50 years of housekeeping both for effective strength of cleaning power and being so quiet in operation one can talk over it.
The bags, of course, are the drawback because they are complicated and expensive. It's worth therefore looking around the suppliers to find a good deal on price and postage charges - there's plenty of choice and a wide range.

Replacing bags is areal pain and as we live in a very our house which is very dusty we have to do this very regularly. However being able to odrer the bags online through Amazon at very competitive prices eases the pain.

Don't save your money or waste your time buying non miele bags......you have go to get the real thing. These are a perfect fit, better connection and contain the dust compared to cheaper alternatives.
