 Not just a faddy gadget! September 4, 2010

My boyfriend thought I was mad to waste my money on this "faddy gadget" but since it arrived we have both used it at least once a day and sometimes more than once!
It is incredibly easy to use and clean.
It makes lovely "mc donalds" style poached eggs which are the exact size for a muffin. The measuring cup allows complete control over how set the egg is.
I have also made really tasty mini-omelettes, which are great in a bagel with a cheese slice.
We've also made very tasty boiled eggs and soldiers.
All in all I think the old toaster is going to be resigned to the garage and the Toast 'n' Egg will permanently replace it.
Excellent value for money. You will not regret buying it!

Hi everyone. Yes the Tefal Toast n Egg is great but I still cannot work out the right amount of water for my eggies . I don't want you to be put off because I know I am such a thick person it will be me who hasn't worked it out properly. It looks fabulous in my kitchen and does yummy toast but my egg was like my cakes turn out A ROCK lol . You can poach one egg or boil 4 or even scramble one but I need to get it right and then I KNOW this machine will be perfect

This is really cool, it does take normal slices of bread despite what some reviewers say, you just turn the bread sideways instead of lengthways and it toasts fine, if only they made this product for camping :) excellent.

The toaster does toast. The egg steamer steams eggs. No bother, no fuss, solid, simple, and effective.
