If you're looking for a first class set of Kitchen scales that are reliable and accurate then these are the ones for you, they hardly take up any space on the kitchen work top, work very well indeed, and are sensibly priced, What more could one ask for? Thoroughly good product that does exactly what it says on the tin.

Not much to say apart from it works well, has a lovely slim design and survived working in a pub kitchen for 3 months so used often. Not had a problem.

I have had battery operated scales for a goods 10 years and like them. These work more efficiently than my 'old' one as they also measure fluids. I cannot understyand why customers have compalined about the visablity of the digital display being unclear or cannot see it. I use my Kenwood bowl on these scales and also my breamaker and can see the digits perfectly well...as well as a 72 year old should be able to. They are lighter weight, smaller battery (and only 88p for 2 including postage off Amazon site) and easier to store and keep clean. Yes I like them.

Best scale ever. Bought it as a wedding present after using one myself for the last two years without problems.
 Disappointed - broken after two months July 1, 2010

Initially I was very pleased with the Salter Slim Design Electronic Platform Kitchen Scale Black scales - looked great, very easy to use. Two months on and they've completely broken, won't switch on and replacing the battery makes no difference at all. As it's now beyond the 30 day returns window amazon instructs me to contact the manufacturer for assistance. Not happy!
