This is the best piece of tupperware I have ever bought. Keeps cakes fresh and makes storage and transporting very easy.

I am a fan of the lock and lock range and own a fair proportion of it. Overall, I find it meets all my requirements, it is air-tight and liquid-tight and reliable over a number of years. My containers have gone through the dishwasher many times without any detriment to their performance.
I bake cakes from time to time and decided to buy this. The container itself is well made and did keep the cakes fresh far longer than any other type I have used. However, I found storage of this item to be an insurmountable problem. It used up far too much cupboard space for the amount of use it got and I could not afford to keep it on a worktop when it was not in use. Although I could put some of my other lock and lock containers inside to reduce the overall impact on my available kitchen cupboard space, this did not prove to be practical for me and I decided to pass it on to a more prolific cake maker (who finds it very useful).
