Minky Clothes Airer August 28, 2010 Amy I was very pleased with this product. It is very easy to assemble and has been a God send during the great British Summer! Stores away neatly too.
Collapsed after 3 months August 14, 2010 M. TAYLOR 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently purchased one of these, though not from Amazon, and in Lavender. It was great for 3 months or so, then it started to list to one side, and now it will not stand up to its full height. I fear that it will not last much longer. Very dissapointed indeed.
Great July 11, 2010 Debbie Blake (London, UK) I was slightly put of purchasing this by other reviewers who complained of it collapsing as I have a 3yr old. However, I went for it anyway and I'm pleased I did. I simply cannot see how this could just collapse all by itself, unless faulty or of course you didn't ensure the sides where secure and to be honest, even my 3yr old can check for this.
To close, the catches on the sides need to be lifted and it can close quite quickly. As it's quite large it can be a little heavy and clumsy as initially you are only left with one hand to hold & steer before or as it closes. You get used to it though. But I do think that anyone frail might struggle a little here.
It is sturdy, large, you can get a lot on it, there is space for hangers and it folds up tightly.
Such good value for money I am very pleased and shall be getting another one.
Decent Airer June 18, 2010 Audax Joe (Chester, UK) Light, easy to pack away but sturdy enough for a full load of washing. Recommended.
Good but not great! June 8, 2010 Mrs. Bright (UK) I bought this to replace a long used clothes airer, it has been fine until today - the poles seem to be made from very flimsy metal and have bent and it is now broken! If you do buy this just be careful with it, how you store it, move it etc - it seems to be fairly fragile!
