3 out of 5 stars CUP SIZE!   September 9, 2010
gary
This machine is great if you have tiny cups I tried using a normal mug but what a nightmare so had to buy some small cups which after about 3 mouth fulls the cup is empty.

Otherwise a great little machine

4 out of 5 stars Good priced coffee maker   September 5, 2010

This a pretty efficient and simple coffee maker. It does the job, making a good tasting cup/mug of coffee without fuss. Crema depends on the grind and type of coffee. If course ground is used then no crema but still good strength. Fine expresso ground coffee gives some crema but not as good as full commercial machines.
We can't easily produce 2 expressos at same time as the coffee holder's handle doesn't stick straight out when fully tightened so leaving on of the spouts near the rear of the machine, preventing a second cup being placed there. Easy work-around - use one cup to collect the coffee from both spouts.
Cleaning and filling is easy.
Would I get another one? Yes - the price is very reasonable.

4 out of 5 stars great economy cappuccinno maker   August 31, 2010
D. Littlewood (yorkshire,England)
this is our second delonghi cafe treviso! Its not as pretty as a Gaggia but has 14 bar pressure which i like.I use it for cappuccinno making and get great results. If you have never used a frother it takes a bit of trial and error.Dont give up.I like lavazza and illy coffee in particular but most correctly ground coffee is good. For a special treat put a shot of carnation in with the milk and have a real treat!Semi skimmed or full fat milk for good results and finish with a dusting of hot choc powder or cinnamon cheers!

3 out of 5 stars Not bad for the money...hoped it would be better.   August 30, 2010

Not bad for the money...hoped it would be better though. Even though the steamer arm is short it is still too close to the work surface to be able to get any jug underneath without tipping the jug over and spilling the contents.

Runs out of steam very quickly.

I'm glad I bought the machine via Amazon as I got the machine cheaper than in the shops.

This machine is fine as an entry level espresso machine but don't expect the same quality espressos, lattes or cappuccinos to be the same as Starbucks or Costas.

5 out of 5 stars Great Machine!   August 29, 2010
Mike
The coffee machine does everything it says it should. I can't say about espresso crema because we don't drink it, but it makes magnificent Capuccinos and Latte's. It does have a tendency to vibrate during the 'coffee' stage, but it's not enough of a drawback to effect my affection for the machine!
