Product Description Knowing how much people love their toast Rowenta have observed some of the many different and sometimes strange ways people commonly use their toasters. Whether you have very specific toasting preferences and go to great lengths to achieve them, or simply need to grab a slice as you run out of the door in the morning, the New Rowenta Prelude range has something for everyone. The new generation Prelude features the revolutionary front control panel, but the slots are now set into a stunning 30 degree aluminium curve - making it easier than ever to safely check the bread toasting inside. A powerful 1200 watt element means toast is cooked up to four times faster than a regular toasters creating delicious toast which is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. This Rowenta Prelude Digital 2 Slice Toaster has a stylish brushed stainless steel body and is the newest in the Rowenta range. The Rowenta Prelude Toaster includes variable browning control and bun warmer. Also includes an LCD screen with countdown timer. Please Note: All electrical products sold by cookinstyle (InStyle Products Limited) are supplied with a UK 3 pin plug.

Perfect.....if you live on your own and only eat small slices of toast! January 3, 2009 Debra from Hull (England) Toaster looks really good. Pity then that you can't toast a normal slice of bread from an 800g loaf! The toaster can't take the slice horizontally so you have to put it in vertically and turn it over mid-way. I got this as a present but wouldn't have bought it myself.
Good Buy October 11, 2008 Bob1 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had read several different reports on this toaster before making my purchase, a leading product test magazine quoted "This Rowenta toaster browns bread evenly but is slow and tricky to clean" and the test magazine awarded 4 out of 5 for evenness of toasting. Having read some reports I was concerned about making the purchase but I can safely say the toaster has exceeded my expectations. I can verify the toaster does produce a good evenley browned slice of toast and takes an average of 3 minutes which is enough time for a perfectley brewed cup of tea. Cleaning is simple use baby oil and a paper towel to clean the brushed stainless steel exterior and this will return the item to its original condition.
Annoying! September 10, 2008 AJ (Swansea, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this mainly for its looks and because I liked the Kettle (wanted a matching pair). A mistake. I should have listened to a review I read that highlighted its fundamental flaw of browning one side more than the other - thought this may be a one off. Now have to toast everthing twice to brown both sides. Annoying to say the least.
Disappointing June 2, 2008 Mustang (England) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
The toaster is stylish and looks great on your kitchen worktop, but a full length of Warburton bread which I use does not fit completely in the slot which means you left with a quarter of the bread untoasted. A real disapointment as I purchased the toaster to match the kettle I would not recommend this item.
