4 out of 5 stars Stylish and works well, but be careful opening the packaging!   August 3, 2008

We acquired one through our kitchen fitter, who suggested it. It is stylish, would fit under the cupboard we have over the sink and importantly is easy to use if you have limited dexterity or are trying to turn on the tap with your hands full. I have only two gripes. The plumber found it impossible to fit the cartridge lifetime indicator electrics (we change filters on a three-monthly basis), and the kit either didn't contain the tiny "grub" screws that hold the handles in place, or else they were so small that they immediately got lost when the packaging was opened. I have been trying ever since to find replacement "grub" screws.

1 out of 5 stars Beware this is NOT suitable for a Softened Water supply   February 23, 2008

We loved the design of this tap in that is was lower than most of its contemporaries and had an elegant spout and controls. On the design side alone it should get full marks.
The kit supplied comes with all you need and the instructions are clear and concise. However it was only after I had purchased the tap and then read the installation instructions did I find out that the tap uses a COMBINED cold water feed so it is not suitable for connecting soft water from a water softener to the normal cold feed and hard water through the filter for drinking water.
Nowhere in all of the literature for the tap neither on Amazon nor on the Brita site is this publicised.
