1 out of 5 stars Not up to the job   October 12, 2008

I bought one of these 18 months ago. It never really did a very good job with the large bowl chopper (which was one thing I wanted it for) as it left everything very coarse. The mini-chopper was too small for anything but spices / herbs and was very fiddly. The hand whisk - one of my main uses - was also never really up to whisking much. Now, the main clutch seems to have given up completely and it only spins if there is no pressure on it at all (ie not trying to whisk / chop anything) after only being used less than once a week this is very poor.

2 out of 5 stars good at first...   May 5, 2008

Bought this 16 months ago and thought this was great initially as i pureed soups and baby food. However, the plastic gearing started to wear for the small chopper and after 6 months this had broken. We then moved to using the bigger one and now, after 16 months (10 months use) this too has broken as it doesnt engage the blades properly. I tried to replace the small chopper which you have to do through a 3rd party. It was expensive and then didnt arrive (still hasn't)!
I wouldnt recommend to due the durability and am now looking at the dualit version to see if thats any better

I was hesitated before buying this blender because i saw more than a device but with less additions and i was afraid not to use all of these stuff. All are usefull, but the mini chopper is not very useful,it is difficult to chop onion,i think it is more suitable for garlic and things that have that size..Anyway it is very helpful and fast also it is easy to be cleaned and its size is perfect to be put anywhere u want

4 out of 5 stars Very good, but......   December 27, 2006

I found the blender to be very good, but there are 2 things I never thought of, firstly, and for good reason, you have to hold the on button down the whole time, while in use, and I feel that the baby food processor is fine if you have a baby and only want to do one meal at a time, it would have been better with perhaps a 250 or even 400ml bowl, which is what I am now looking for, Any ideas? All things considered though, I will be keeping mine
