5 out of 5 stars Superb. Working perfectly   January 3, 2009

Superb item. working perfectly.
i've followed the instruction written by jacobjacobi

1: Use semi-skimmed milk straight from the fridge.
2: Beat the milk vigorously, making sure that you pump only in the bottom 2 inches of the milk (if you come out of the milk with each stroke, it doesn't work).
3: Keep pumping until it starts to get thick (if you are vigorous, this will take about 30 seconds).
4: Pop it into the microwave at full power (800 watts in my case) for 50 seconds. This seems to almost set the milk and it is even thicker when it comes out.
5: You now have egg white milk.

i use it for my irish coffee, latte, milk shake ....

5 out of 5 stars Blimey! Better than my nearest 'coffee chain'   December 24, 2008

Has to be said I love a cappuccino and it really annoys me when I go to get a well earned cappuccino and I get an insipid latte at best. So I bought this based on the reviews on here - not really expecting it to work. I am amazed I get better foam from this than they get with a full on professional machine! Added to my espresso I get myself a fantastic coffee at a fraction of the 3/ 4 I normally pay!! Plus the added bonus of actually getting a 'skinny' when I order it rather than whatever milk they lay their hands on!

My advice buy it - its fantastic!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent results, easy use and maintenance   December 18, 2008

It is incredibly simple to use and produces excellent results. It goes in the dishwasher!

It's much easier to use and to clean than the steam pipe on the espresso machine. I've tried other "alternative" frother and found it difficult to use with the batteries.

I was really disappointed with this. Tried it with hot milk, warm milk, cold milk, full fat, skimmed, semi skimmed, you name it...but could not get any froth at all. I don't recommend this!

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant!!!   December 4, 2008

It actually does what it says!!! I was thinking of buying one of those fancy and expensive machines like the ones in the coffee shops, but this baby works just a s good!!! I mainly use it with hot chocolate and coffee and it is excellent.

I did notice however, that it works best when filled up to the maximum line. It does work with less than that but the best results occur when filled to the line!

Also, don't get the impression that it only takes two or three pumps and "walla"! You have to give it a few seconds worth of pumps, but it's nothing exhausting or excessive!

Strongly recommended for any kitchen!!!
